Product Description

Thawbest is a solution used to thaw cells after cryopreservation. The use of PBS buffer solution when thawed can increase the rate of cell death; while the use of culture media for defrosting may increase the cost of production. ThawBest is an alternative culture solution used in thawing.

THAWBEST were developed for thawing cryopreserved stem cells as well as a wide variety of cell types and established cell lines. It is ready-to-use and complete with no additives required.

Usages

Thawbest is used in the thawing process of frozen cells. The product was demonstrated on mesenchymal stem cells and fibroblasts showing a high rate of viable post-thawing cells.

Sterility

 

Bacterial and Fungal Contamination: No growth must be observed.

Mycoplasma: Results must be negative.

Endotoxin: Samples are tested for endotoxin contamination with LAL test.

Specification: Results must show a concentration of ≤ 25 EU/ml.
